Video Production Coordinator (1099)

Contract period: Month-to-month

Benefits: Required software and technology will be provided by Outside. This is not a staff role and will not be eligible for additional company benefits.

Location: Remote

The Video Production Coordinator will mainly assist the Managing Video Editor in setting up and tracking projects in Asana, Google Drive, and Iconik. They will ensure projects have the required documentation and that they are on schedule, following up with Outside's editorial staff members when needed. They will help with additional organizational projects like updating the team's Finished Videos Log, logging footage, and cleaning up the existing video library in JW Player.

Ideally, they will have a background in video so that they know the general production workflow and terminology. They should have an interest in the creative side of video production as they may join pitch meetings, pull stock footage selects, and assist with other creative tasks. Notably, they will QC video edits when the Managing Video Editor is out-of-office.

-Asana knowledgeable

-Premiere Pro skills

-Experience reviewing edits

-Knowledge of remote video production practices

-Passion for any of the following: hiking, backpacking, yoga, climbing, running, triathlon, skiing, snowboarding
