Metro.co.uk is looking for pitches
Metro.co.uk is looking for pitches for their ‘So, How Did It Go?’ dating series.
Examples of previous SHDIG pieces can be found here.
These don’t necessarily need to be *first* date stories. Lots are, but they mainly want to hear unique stories about any dates.
They also don’t need to be dating ‘horror stories! Again, lots are (and they do love those shocking, jaw-dropping pieces), but they love the heartwarming pieces too.
They don’t need to be recent (i.e. you don’t need to be single/actively dating in order to contribute to the series); they can be decades-old! They just ask that you include lots of detail, emotion and anecdotes (they LOVE anecdotes!).
Some of these pieces can be anonymous, but this will always need to be discussed prior to commissioning.
Fee paid; more details to be shared over email.
