Cosmopolitan is accepting entertainment pitches

Thank you so much for your interest in Cosmopolitan for your entertainment pitch. I’m so excited for the possibilities and what can happen! Here’s some things to keep in mind:

• Check the website to make sure the idea hasn’t been done before. This has been a bigger problem recently and it really sucks to say no to an idea you’re excited about because it’s already on the site. I would suggest searching keywords on Google while using “site:http://cosmopolitan.com” w/o “”.

• We’re mainly looking for opinion pieces, interesting interviews, introspective pieces, or special features for our entertainment section.

• Unfortunately, we are not looking for listicles or reviews at this time.

• Please be mindful about timing. I know not everyone gets screeners or things ahead of time, but I also cannot accept a pitch for something that has aired or released a month ago. An exception would be if it’s a special anniversary piece for something.

• Have fun with it! We’re Cosmo! We love to hear fun and wacky ideas! If you’re having fun, then it really helps make a piece pop!
